Travel Advice

Some Planning Advice

We don't recommend renting a car while in Atlanta. The Georgia World Congress Center sits steps away from the Omni Atlanta Hotel. And, it's easy to use public transportation to get from the Atlanta airport or travel around town.

Traveling by Air

Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL):

The closest major airport to downtown Atlanta, ATL is just 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta by train.

From the airport take MARTA north to the Five Points Station. Then, take the westbound train 1 stop to CNN/GWCC Station. Take the escalator or elevator up and walk through the CNN building to hotel entrance. At just $2.75, the train is good for your wallet and the planet. The trip takes about 25 minutes. See for yourself on Google Maps.

Of course, you can also grab a cab or ride-share from the airport.  It'll take about 25-40 minutes, depending on traffic and costs about $25 (plus tip).

Traveling by Rail

Amtrak

Amtrak's Peachtree Station is only a short ride from the Convention Center and serves as a hub for regular train service from a variety of regional cities.
